It has been my pleasure to work with Anita for nearly three years on the development and implementation of a comprehensive Monitoring and Learning System for a large-scale EU project in North Africa. Anita is a very experienced MEL professional, highly effective oral and written communicator and an absolute team player. She tackled some of our biggest challenges on this project and provided careful, thoughtful and relevant MEL technical assistance to our many stakeholders and partners in the field. She was a joy to work with, always ready with not only a solution to a tough challenge, but just as importantly, good humor, flexibility and a willingness to “get it done” even in the most challenging of circumstances. She would be a welcome addition to any team or project and I recommend her in the strongest terms for any research or MEL work.

WWF Austria
“Fish Forward” is an EC funded project with 17 project partners (lead WWF Austria) in 17 countries. We were really happy to engage Anita Leutgeb to externally evaluate this comprehensive and complex project. Her expertise in international projects focusing on the development sector as well as her very structured and proactive working style resulted in a concise report with useful recommendations. We appreciated the cooperation with Anita very much and look forward to the next evaluation.

What we appreciated in our collaboration was your flexibility and readiness to discuss, always with the intention that we get USEFUL results.

Anita Leutgeb has carried out the evaluation of the Caritas food security programme co-financed by the Austrian Government and implemented in four African countries (Burkina Faso, Senegal, DRC, Ethiopia) in an extremely professional manner: very well-grounded, with concrete recommendations and an enormous appreciation for the programme implementers. Very good results in a very short lapse of time available to her.

Anita helped out when we urgently needed high qualified assistance as the officer for our planned project in favor of Sahrawi refugees had left our organization by surprise. Anitas challenge was to take the communication with our project partner overnight and to adapt the information to the needs of rapidly coming up potential donors. Her deep experience in designing projects, in perfectly presenting the relevant facts and figures and in expressing the needs of the beneficiaries in a gripping manner made our target persons overcompensated by far for the deplorable sudden loss of our own project officer. Thank you Anita, we hope that our paths will cross again in the future.

BRAVEAURORA, Ghana and Austria
Anita has supported us in the first half-year of 2016 comprehensively with the programme work of our association. We appreciate her multifaceted competencies (in programme management, as copy writer for our public relations work and as fundraiser) as well as her readiness for action. Anita has a very structured and efficient way of working and an excellent analytical capacity. Moreover, she integrated very quickly into our team.

We liked to work together with Mrs. Anita Leutgeb, as she supported us to put our project ideas down on paper. We benefitted from her longstanding experience as project manager of development projects. Mrs. Leutgeb is extremly reliable, flexible and competent. In addition, we appreciate her enthusiasm and her capacity to identify with our goals. We highly recommend a collaboration with Mrs. Leutgeb.

Hinzen Privatkontor, Germany
Since years, we work for a religious congregation in India. They started a huge project for a new centre for disabled persons, care and vocational trainings. On behalf of our firm, Anita supervised the sisters for the application strategy and wrote the proposal. She did really a very good job, collaborating perfectly with her colleagues in our firm as well as with the sisters. Every time we are in need of external work force, we will ask Anita again. Thank you, Anita!

I met Anita through the search for colleagues who could work in a project of the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). She was one of 6 applicants. Her diverse language skills and her experience in development cooperation projects were more important to me in my choice than a specialised knowledge of, for example, the financial market and the like. With her broad basis, she corresponds to my ideal ideas of education. A good basis allows for quick understanding and familiarisation.

Anita helped us to prepare a project proposal for a big school building project in the Holy Land. She worked together with the local project partner and elaborated a very well thought and appealing proposal. We were successfully using it to get awarded several grants. Many thanks to your professional support and your open and uncomplicated manner!
